Alice Lawrence is the founder and owner of Lawrence-Mayer-Wilson Interior Design.Alice’s broad experience adds to her exceptional talent and her ability to offer a variety of design concepts to her clientele; from traditional, soft contemporary, transitional, English & French country to exotic.Working in eclectic, pulling it all together and making it work beautifully is what Alice enjoys.As she explains it, "I start each project with an original design concept based on my clients’ personal desires and lifestyles.I want them to feel very much a part of the project." Alice began her career by working in the design field and attending design school in New York City.Over the past 30 years Alice has nurtured her talent through her love for international travel, shopping both domestically and abroad, markets and trade shows. Her expertise of floor plans, furniture lighting schemes, custom furniture design, custom window treatments and wall finishes, combined with her familiarity and ability to bring many different cultures and styles together has attracted clientele from all walks of life.She has an extensive portfolio of successfully completed residential and commercial projects. Alice is an Allied member of the American Society of Interior Design (ASID), and her work, as well as the Firm’s designers have earned multiple publication articles and recognition in Design NJ, Savvy Living, Florida Design Magazine, ensemble, House Beautiful, Luxury Homes & Living, New York Spaces, American Dream, and various local and regional newspapers.
Nikki Wilson is an owner and partner of Lawrence-Mayer-Wilson Interior Design.Nikki’s wide range of experience, as well as her exceptional talent gives her the ability to offer a variety of design concepts to her clientele; from soft contemporary, transitional, traditional, French and country to exotic.As she explains it, "My clients’ lifestyle is carefully considered so that my design provides them with comfort, elegance, quality and value.” Nikki earned a Bachelor of Science in Education, and worked in education before following her passion in interior design.Upon completion of interior design school, Nikki joined the firm as a partner in 1984.Over the past 26 years Nikki has taken pride in her ability to execute every aspect of interior design.Her ongoing thirst for design knowledge has lead her to markets and trade shows both domestically and internationally.She is always looking for something new and exciting. Meghan Dobish is a head designer at Lawrence-Mayer-Wilson Interior Design. She joined the Firm in 2002, after completing a degree in Interior Design at Parson's School of Design, a division of the New School University, and interning at Victoria Hagen Interiors in NYC. Prior to receiving her degree in interior design, Meghan worked for Westworld Interactive Digital Communications, London, UK and gained experience in Public Relations and Marketing, utilizing her dual degree in Business and Communications from Elon University in North Carolina. Living in London afforded Meghan the freedom to travel extensively throughout Europe where her interest in interior design was peaked and greatly influences her style today.While she values the classical form and longevity of traditional styling, Meghan likes to integrate modern materials and utilizes traditional elements in unconventional applications. Whether the chosen style is English, French, traditional, modern, or eclectic she approaches each space with a modern edge and sensibility, creating personalized functional spaces that reflect her client’s style while being appropriate for their lifestyle. Meghan is an NCIDQ licensed Interior Designer in the State of New Jersey. Her work has been featured in Design NJ Magazine, New York Spaces Magazine, and various local and regional newspapers.
Marjorie Warga is a head designer at Lawrence-Mayer-Wilson Interior Design.She joined the Firm in 2001, to pursue her love for art, architecture and interior design.She began as an assistant to one of the principals and quickly assumed the role of head designer.
With a strong Fine Arts background, a Bachelor in Art from Montclair University, NJ and an Associates of Art in Interior Design from Brookdale Community College, Marge’s broad experience in the interior design field has brought her a following as diverse as the various styles she works with.Her keen ability to read her clients style, her thoughtful approach to design, her extensive ability to visually and conceptually design & draft a room from scratch, as well as her casual way makes all of her projects a positive experience for her clientele. Marge has earned multiple publication articles and recognition in Design NJ Magazine, New York Spaces Magazine, Ensemble-Benjamin Moore National Publication, Savvy Living Magazine and various local and regional newspapers.
Mary-Jo Mantz is a head designer at Lawrence-Mayer-Wilson Interior Design; she joined the firm in 1985. Mary-Jo interned for both Alice Lawrence and Nikki Wilson, as a design assistant. After receiving her degree in interior design from BeckerCollege, Worcester, MA she joined the Firm fulltime.
While continuing to work hand-in-hand with Alice Lawrence on each and every project, Mary-Jo designs for her own clientele. Her broad design experience, exceptional talent, professionalism and polished approach is apparent in her continual ability to offer a wide variety of design concepts to new and long-time clients.From traditional, soft contemporary, transitional, English & French country to exotic, Mary-Jo works in all styles. She says, “I love the diversity of the interior design field, working on different interiors, dealing with a variety of clients, personalities and styles - this makes it all so interesting. I make sure that every client’s style is reflected in the final result and that it is time-less.”

Jennifer Karwan is a head designer at Lawrence-Mayer-Wilson Interior Design; she joined the Firm in 2002. Prior to Lawrence-Mayer-Wilson, Jennifer worked for ICA Designs in Milburn, NJ and European Country Kitchens in northern NJ.
With a diversified range of design experience, as well as exceptional design talent, Jennifer offers a broad range of design concepts to her clients. In addition to designing for her own clientele, she continues to work hand in hand with head designer and owner Nikki Wilson. Her experience allows her to work well with a variety of designs; from soft contemporary, transitional, traditional, French and English country to exotic.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from DrexelUniversity, she participated in the Montclair and Morristown, NJ “Mansions in May” Show House featured in DesignNJ and her work has been featured in various publications.
Linda Vincelli is a head designer at Lawrence-Mayer-Wilson Interior Design; she joined the Firm in 2006. Linda is an accomplished visual artist in the fields of interior design, special event design, photography, and oil painting. Her education, as well as her experience of 25 years in the fields of design, art, magazine styling, fashion merchandising, floral and jewelry design adds a unique level of service and expertise to her clients.
Adding her classic elegance, innovative, and glamorous style through the distinctive use of color, hues, textures and details; which make each clients home architecturally interesting is evident in Linda’s work.Her passion for perfection and detail is consistent for a finished touch tailored to fit today’s lifestyle. Her exposure to various designs and styles throughout her life travels are incorporated into her design styles including transitional, modern, traditional, French country, shore chic, urban, metropolitan and couture.
Linda's artistic, elegant and sophisticated style also shows in the Firm's showroom; where in addition to working as an interior designer, Linda is the Firm’s showroom merchandiser. Her ability to add the finishing touches to a room of any style is truly evident in our beautifully appointed showroom.
Linda has earned multiple publication recognitions in DesignNJ, Florida Design, Veranda, Better Homes & Garden, Elle and Vive Magazines. She has worked in New Jersey, Palm Beach, New York City, Philadelphia, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
